Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Tom Hiddleston as Loki

The cast of the movie Thor is finally being rounded. It has been announced that Chris Hemsworth, who played George Kirk, father of James T Kirk in the last Star Trek movie, will be Thor and that Tom Hiddleston will play the role of Loki, Thor's Brother and nemesis.

The word is that Director Kenneth Branagh did not chose A-list actor, because he wants moviegoers to judge the film for its own merit and not because of unwarranted hype and expectations attached to big names.

Impatient to get a first look at Kennet Branagh's Thor movie!

Somehow I cannot see Chris Hemsworth as Thor. With Triple HHH, I can see him as the Mighty Thor. If Chris is going to be Thor. He has to be buffed and muscular. I think that one dept will have to use effects to make him look buffed and muscular. With Triple HHH, he is already there. He has the locks and the build.

Good choice for Loki. :-) Terrible choice for Thor. :-(
