The costumes are too modern for my taste. It's a shame they didn't use the Ultimates version, or even the modern version. Just my opinion. If the story is engaging it really shouldn't matter.

Oh, and thanks for keeping the site updated- great work!

To make a Thor movie work, you really have to bring the surreal to life. Looking at the small bit-clips of this movie, I have a 60% feeling that it's going to be a flop. The story line is a little out of whack and the actor playing Thor isn't what the majority of the true comic fans are going to see in their minds. I've been a Thor reader/fan for over 25yrs and know what the fans are going to want to see and 60% neg don't want to see this version. Nuff said.

Why not go traditional historical story line, and costume. It would carry more weight.

Look, "true comic fans" will only make up 1% of the box office. They have to make a movie that will appeal to the bulk of the people. Some action, some fantasy, some love story... It's just the reality of modern movies.

If you need to have read 15 years of Thor comics or a Masters degree in Norse mythology to understand the movie then it's going to flop.

People need to be able to come in at the ground floor and understand what's happening.
